About Sina
SINA was founded on 15 June 1935, when Yeung Chai Huei started the Sindu Amritha candy factory in Indonesia. The name means “river of nectar, river of life” in Sanskrit, and the short form Sin A means “new Asia” in Chinese.
The factory came through hard years during the Second World War, thanks to the family's efforts and the distinctive taste of its ginger candies. In 1976 SINA opened its global sales headquarters in Hong Kong, and today the candies are sold in more than 20 countries.
The candies are made with Indonesian ginger using traditional production methods, without added preservatives or stabilisers. With us you will find SINA original, mango and peppermint.
